Well, after last Sunday's visit to Barnsley's very own version of the "car scrappage scheme": the westbound A635 close to its junction with the A633 - a steep downhill section of this trunk-road, bus-route and emergency vehicle artery which had turned into an (un-gritted) ice chute, I don't feel like going out until all the mad b*gg*rs get back to work! After queueing half an hour for all the trendy 4x4's in front to chicken-out, the Landy decended gracefully under traction, albeit in diff-lock and low ratio box. It's so boring waiting in turn...

We are told "for six days thou shalt labour", but as the world shuts for Christmas, there is little one can do, and as for tomorrow, well, I don't drive on Saturdays...Wink

Maybe a tour round the dark peaks on Sunday, provided all is calm, all is bright....LOL

Just to nicely round off this topic, here's what one of God's prophets (announcers) had to say...
