I have recently purchase 2 off 1m CuSat50 cables from JohnC.

The cable was offered in 0.5m increments starting off at 0.5m.
They were packaged in a heavy duty cardboard wallet and the plugs were protected with foam wrapping.

The interconnect is very well built and finished. Overall black braid hold the two lengths of copper satallite cable together. The locking phono plugs grip fast to the sockets and are not likely to slip or loosen. The centre pin is split to give a tight contact when the plug is inserted.
I have owned cable with phono plugs that either need excess force to make or slip out of the socket with the weight of the cable. You will not have these problems with the CuSat50.

The cable is clearly marked for direct, following the print on the cable sheath.

My first thoughts were that the cable was built - fit-for-purpose.

For the money outlay I have purchased quality materials selected and built by JohnC to an excellent standard.

Thanks JohnC, you have a very satisfied customer.

Hi DC, let us know how they sound when they have bedded in.
Did you twirle and twist them or left just the way they are?
Maybe a comparison with another known IC is possible? Thanks Han

Hello Cyreg,

With regards to the cable twirling,
NO twirling round my head, just plugged them straight in.
If I read other comments correctly the twirling is to loosen the hold the outer sheath has over the copper screen braid.
I don't know how effective this would be as the two cables are heatshrinked together with an overall PVC braid so not much play once the cable is finished (maybe JohnC done the twirling during the process of building them?)

I have some DNM cable without the Eichmann plugs. I will do an A-B comparison with these.
